| Eteläesplanadi 24, stair hall | |
The residence and office building located at the corner of Erottaja and Eteläesplanadi, built by apothecary Girsén, was completed in autumn 1893. There has been an abundance of decorative paintings made by the Wuorio Painting Company in the building's stair halls and flats. Even the ceilings of the small flats in the kitchen stairway had been decorated with paintings. All the wall and ceiling surfaces had been painted over several times, but during restoration work in 1998, some of the paintings were uncovered.
