The construction of the office building of the Tampere wool factory was started according to the plans of architect Theodor Höijer in 1895, and the decorative paintwork carried out by the S. Wuorio Painting Company was completed in late 1896. Some decorative paintings still remain in the stair hall at the Verkatehtaankatu side, at least one of the painters of which has probably been the Wuorio decorative painter Erling.
